Our Mission
Our mission at Koda's Legacy Foundation is to provide financial assistance to families in Washington state whose dogs have been diagnosed with cancer, helping cover the cost of treatment and palliative care so they can focus on what matters most: time, comfort and quality of life.
A Legacy of Love and Healing
When Koda was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, my world changed in an instant. The news was devastating. Koda wasn't just a pet, he was my soul dog.
Through everything, one thing became clear: we were incredibly fortunate. We had pet insurance to help cover the cost of his treatments. But many families don't.
Cancer treatment for dogs can run in to the tens of thousands of dollars and too often, families are faced with an impossible decision, pursue treatment or say goodbye sooner than they're ready.
Koda's Legacy Foundation was created to help ease the financial burden families are facing.
This foundation is Koda's legacy, a way for his love, spirit and impact to continue helping others.
